Scene 1 - "Gather Alameda's Very Important Auction Sponsors" - Take 1!!
The movie clapboard has snapped and the Alameda Auction Committee has commenced work. We're pulling together another incredible list of sponsors that, simply put, make the annual auction not only possible but truly amazing.
Each year a very special group of community neighbors and Portland area businesses come together to provide Sponsorship contributions that provide the the funds necessary to produce the Alameda School Foundation's largest annual fundraiser. The 2012 auction grossed over $180,000 which was used entirely to fund additional teaching and specialist positions that further enrich our children's education at Alameda. This year we plan to produce a star studded event with Oscar winning results.
We recognize the continuous committment many of our sponsors have made year after year to support an event that has raised in excess of $1M over the course of more than a decade; a performance most certainly worth a standing ovation.
